As of March 16th 2020 we are closed & hope to open in approx 2 weeks. All memberships are currently frozen and no one is being charged until we reopen.

WORLD RECORD Board Break

Mrs. Cathy and I had a wonderful weekend down at the Action Martial Arts Hall of Fame Mega Weekend at the Tropicana in Atlantic City!
Saturday Night I was honored in the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame for my 25 years in the martial arts!!
Then Sunday morning I competed in the International Breaking Federation World Championships and one First Place!!
Better yet I broke a WORLD RECORD for the 4 Board Head Butt Break!!

CLOSED Saturday Dec 28th for the holiday

After much deliberation and debate in the Brooks household we can now formally announce our holiday closures:
Long story short, we are only closed the Saturday (28th) between Christmas and New years. Other than that, and the holidays, we are open normal business hours. We chose to do this to minimalize the impact on the most students. It does however mean that our PEEWEE students will still miss 3 classes in a row due to the holidays. We encourage our PEEWEE students to come to one of our older Junior classes as a make up for the lost class(es). Thank you all for understanding, and Happy Holidays!!

It's time to Donate at CMB Karate!

Every year our dojo participates in Rise's Thanksgiving Food Drive. And every year we have brought more and more boxes of food over to donate. So please consider donating to the wonderful LOCAL charity as they make up baskets for families in need this time of year. Donations are accepted until NOV 21st.

Cardio Kickboxing Now at CMB Karate!

We're adding 2 new classes at CMB Karate!!
Cardio Kickboxing every Saturday Morning from 9:30-10:15am

And Instructor Development for all our future junior instructors out there.
Instructor development will be the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the Month from 6-6:45pm.

2019 Martial Arts Supershow

Last Week my wife and I were able to attend the Martial Arts Supershow in Vegas. We took part in seminars and Business forums in order to better ourselves and or dojo. We were able to train with some of favorite martial artists like Superfoot Bill Wallace, Billy Blanks, and Benny The Jet.

The best part of the trip was that, well, that we were able to leave. Never before had I left the dojo, and felt comfortable with someone else in charge. I want to thank Sensei Scatko for filling in in my absence. But mostly I want to thank my students. I said it before I left, but it bears mentioning again. "Respect for a substitute teacher is the most respect you can pay to your teacher." So thank you for showing me that respect, by giving him that respect. Great things to come. As you can see I've already begun reformatting the website and facebook page. I'm excited for more parent's night outs, and a great boot camp. Let's have the best summer ever!!

1st Place for Comradery! Everyone did FANTASTIC! I am super proud of all the competitors, and I really hope they are proud of themselves. It is not easy to get up and do what you did today in front of crowds of people. WELL DONE. Our demo team did GREAT! Can't wait til next weeks performance. My instructors: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! It could not have been done without you.

Open Valentines Day

We are OPEN Next Thursday for Valentines Day!
In Fact:
If any parent needs any extra time out for dinner, etc. Please feel free to drop them off for a double class.
That gives you a window of approx 6-7:30pm
so... Make the most of it!
We're open til 8:30 if you're running late, but we start adults class starts at 7:30pm.
